Terms of Service

Last updated: October 31, 2025

Using RepoWriter

By using RepoWriter, you agree to these simple terms. RepoWriter helps you generate README files for your GitHub repositories using AI.

Important

You must follow GitHub's Terms of Service when using RepoWriter.

What You Can Do

  • Use RepoWriter to generate README files for your own repositories
  • Connect your GitHub account to access your public repos
  • Use the generated README files in your projects

What You Can't Do

  • Use RepoWriter for anything illegal or harmful
  • Try to break or overload our service
  • Use other people's repositories without permission

Your Content

You own your repository content. We only access it to generate README files and don't store your code long-term.

The README files we generate are yours to use, but please review them - AI can make mistakes!

No Guarantees

RepoWriter is provided "as is." We try our best to keep it running smoothly, but we can't guarantee it'll always be available or error-free.

Always review the README files we generate before using them in your projects.

Changes

We might update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date above.
