- GitHub Account Info: Your GitHub username, email, and public profile
- Repository Data: Your public repository names and code (only to generate README files)
- Usage Data: Basic analytics like pages visited and generation activity
How We Use Your Information
We only use your data to:
- Generate README files for your repositories
- Keep you logged in during your session
- Improve the service
Data Sharing
We don't sell your data. We only share it with:
- GitHub: For authentication (obviously)
- Vercel: Our hosting provider
That's it. We don't share with advertisers or data brokers.
Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Your GitHub tokens are encrypted, and we only ask for the permissions we actually need.
Your Control
You can stop using RepoWriter at any time. Since we use GitHub login, you can also revoke our access through your GitHub settings.
